The Bibiana Revue is a specialized periodical, unique in Slovakia, with focus on literature and art for children and youth (literature, illustration, radio, TV, drama). It offers evaluations, studies, essays, reviews and interviews with authors.
The quarterly is intended for literary theorists and historians, students, teachers, librarians and all who work with children readers. It plays an irreplaceable role in continuous study of teachers and students of history, theory and didactics of children’s literature. It provides for a complex information source on the Slovak professional art for children and youth applicable in promotion at international events abroad.
It has been published quarterly since 1993 as a continuation of the Czechoslovak Zlatý máj (Golden May, revue on children´s literature and art), except for 1998.
