INVITATION TO IBBY INSTITUTE BRATISLAVA CONFERENCE
Medzinárodné konferencie o čítaní IBBY INŠTITÚTU BRATISLAVA, ktorých hlavným organizátorom je BIBIANA, medzinárodný dom umenia pre deti – Centrum detskej literatúry, čítania a SK IBBY sa konajú každý druhý rok v čase Bienále ilustrácií Bratislava. Dvojdňové konferencie sme tentokrát riešili čiastočne prezenčne a čiastočne online, čoho výsledkom je 7 hodinový maratón zaujímavých príspevkov zo Slovenska aj zo zahraničia, ktorý si môžete pozrieť online.

The Silent Travelling
This playful and inspiring exhibition takes you for a journey through the world of „silent“ books from various corners of the world (European, American, Arabic, Japanese, Thai, Korean as well as Australian). The silent books, consisting only of pictures without any text — represent a little known genre of children literature.

Invitation for illustrators
We invite our illustrator friends to send us an original postcard (10x15cm) with your illustration of a fish or sea creature on the picture side of the card and a relevant message, phrase or thought on the theme on the message side of the card. The Most Beautiful Books of Slovakia 2019 - EXHIBITION
The exhibition of awarded and nominated books in the competition The Most Beautiful Books of Slovakia is open to the public. It presents books by all creators participated in the competition. Publishers have entered the largest number of books (214) in this year's competition. The jury, chaired by Karol Felix, selected twenty books and twelve student works as the Most Beautiful Books of Slovakia 2019. Ten titles won seven major awards.
