The Most Beautiful Books of Slovakia 2019 - EXHIBITION
The exhibition of awarded and nominated books in the competition The Most Beautiful Books of Slovakia is open to the public. It presents books by all creators participated in the competition. Publishers have entered the largest number of books (214) in this year's competition. The jury, chaired by Karol Felix, selected twenty books and twelve student works as the Most Beautiful Books of Slovakia 2019. Ten titles won seven major awards.

In the colours of the rising sun
At the occasion of the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and former Czechoslovakia — BIBIANA set up an exhibition of 39 illustrations by Japanese artists awarded at the Biennale of Illustrations since 1967.

Call for Entries for BAB 2020 is opened!
Your animated movies for children and youth can be submitted to our BAB 2020 competition by online application form through FilmFreeway portal. Your movie can compete in these age categories: S (0-6 years); M (7-10 years); L (11-14 years) and XL (15-18 years). Deadline is April 30, 2020

Jiří Brdečka and Slovakia
As a part of the month of Czechoslovakian culture reciprocity, BAB has organized a lecture about Czech scriptwriter, director and artist Jiří Brdečka. It was organized with a cooperation of National Film Archive Prague (NFA) and Film and Television Faculty of Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU). The lecture included the projection of movie called Gallery by director and artist Jan Meisner.
