WHAT’S HIDDEN IN THE SHADOWS, SECRET FRIENDS
The things around us that we know, we are not afraid of. But what if we’d only see their shadows? Thanks to our imagination, we often see things in the shadows we fear. We will dive into the fascinating world of shadows and discover that shadows are not merely obscure but can also be entertaining and playful. We will look at everyday objects from a different perspective.

BLACK AND WHITE WORLD
Can you imagine a world without colours? A world in black and white only? Let’s try to draw the world around us using only black and white, using the works of Victor Vasarely and Sam Cox, also known as Mr. Doodle, as inspiration. The goal is to experiment with various lines, shapes, and structures and create your own black-and-white world of illusion.

COLOUR ALCHEMY
Join us for an expedition where the connection to nature becomes the source of a new artistic adventure. The workshop aims to explore and use natural pigments that offer a wide array of colours and creative experiences with the help of nature. Participants will learn about the methods using natural pigments and experiment with various techniques and materials artists use.

LAND OF COLOURS
During our theatre workshop, we will be your guide in the land of four colours, where anything is possible. We will explore the world of shadow theatre and together we will discover the many opportunities it offers. We will let our imagination run wild and visit places we have never dreamt of.

MIMICRY
Are colours important in life? Can we use colours to disguise and hide ourselves? Together, we will learn about the captivating world of colours and their meanings in nature, where some creatures disguise themselves or hide with the help of colours. This resemblance is called mimicry. You will discover how some animals use colours to survive, and we will learn why mimicry is essential.

BIBIANA VISITS SCHOOLS
Do you think BIBIANA goes to school and studies, too? Get ready to be surprised; maybe BIBIANA and the Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava and the Biennial of Animation Bratislava will come to you. This workshop is here to teach you more about BIBIANA, BIB and BAB through specific illustrators and children’s books or animators and their animated stories for children. The workshop is designed for students in 4th grade of elementary schools and to enrich the Slovak language and literature curriculum with the help of arts. The duration is 45 minutes.
