Little Dorothy lives with her Uncle Henry and Aunt Em in Kansas. During a violent storm, a tornado sweeps her away to a distant land. Dorothy wants to return home, but the only one who can help her is the Great Wizard of Oz from the Emerald City.

So, she sets off on a journey along the yellow brick road to find the Wizard. Along the way, she meets the Scarecrow, who longs for a brain, the Tin Woodman, who wishes for a heart, and the Cowardly Lion, who seeks courage.

Dorothy and her friends eventually discover that Oz is, in fact, an ordinary man without magical powers. Yet, he still gives the Scarecrow a brain, the Tin Woodman a heart, and the Lion courage—because they already possessed these qualities all along.

A special performance as part of the 30th anniversary of the Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava 2025.
