As part of the Biennial of Animation Bratislava 2026, you can visit an accompanying exhibition entitled The Magic of Drawn Time, which presents original drawings from classic and more recent Bulgarian animated films in Slovakia for the first time. The exhibition, featuring works by Pencho Kunchev, traces the development of Bulgarian animation from its beginnings to the present day. Works from the early 1970s played a pioneering role in the emergence of the Bulgarian animation school and brought it international recognition.
