On June 1st, we launched a new audio series the European Fairy Tales, prepared by BIBIANA in cooperation with RTVS. During working days, Rádio Devín broadcasts 27 folk tales from a member states of the European Union every morning after 7 o'clock. Children will learn how similar and intertwined our national traditions are. It will surely surprise how many common motifs and characters are repeated in fairy tales across the "old" continent. They are convinced that the Twelve Months is also a typical fairy tale in Greece, that the story of salt, which the youngest royal daughter appreciates above all, also exists in the Hungarian version, and that fairy tales about golden firebirds, seven ravens and tiny little sons different variations of many European nations.
The fairy tales were read to us by great actors - Helena Krajčiová, Táňa Pauhofová, Juraj Ďuriš and Daniel Fischer.
We will gradually publish all the fairy tales on our website, each with a beautiful illustration from a fairy tale book located in our library.
In addition, children who visit us in person at BIBIANA can collect cards, which will finally make a beautiful illustrated map of Europe. At the same time, they can access the project information directly via the QR code.
