29th BIENNIAL OF ILLUSTRATIONS BRATILAVA 2023 (BIB 2023) will take place from 4th of October till 3rd of December 2023 in the premises of BIBIANA, the International House of Art for Children.
Due to the ongoing energy crisis and related financial uncertainty, BIBIANA, as the main organizer of the event, was forced to take certain measures (moving the competition part to BIBIANA´s premises), which, however, will not affect the artistic quality of BIB 2023. At the same time, BIBIANA's priority is to prepare an attractive program for the professional and lay public in the form of exhibitions and other accompanying events, which will take place in several places in Bratislava. So BIB will reach the spaces of galleries and institutions in the city center.
BIBIANA will inform about all upcoming activities through its information channels.

Fairy Tale Books (National Identity of Illustration and its Communication in the International Context)
The texts and biographies of the participants must be delivered by May 31, 2023.
