International conference on The Room of reading

International conference was held on November 21, at the University Library in Bratislava. The Room of Reading is a unique artistic multi-genre format, the only one of its kind in Slovakia, which aims to give children the opportunity to read the text, understand, sensitively perceive and clarify their own attitudes in the story and shape values, ​​so children can build relationships and develop healthy behavioral models to be sensitive and empathetic.
 
The Room of Reading is an interactive, visually designed art and scenic space inspired by reading and inspiring to read. In the Centre for Children's Literature, Reading and the Slovak Section of IBBY, which is based in BIBIANA, the International House of Art for Children, five realizations of such rooms have been created. Visitors to become participants in a creative, facilitated process.
